Owner / GM

Set up and run a session

Install the Owner/GM app before leaving internet access.
Join the Nexus network and pair as Owner.
Create a campaign, choose a game system, and add characters.
Open GM Console and show the Player QR.
Back up the campaign after setup or before updates.

Join the table

Install the Player app while internet is available.
Join the same network as Nexus.
Scan the Player QR from the GM.
Choose or create a character.
Use the Player view for resources, notes, and turn state.

Troubleshooting

When something will not connect

Local Mode address: http://10.10.10.1:3000
Home Mode requires every device on the same router network.
Use the app Help button to confirm the Core address.
Use Recovery PIN only when Owner access is unavailable.
Use Settings network tools to ping the router or host.

Portable campaign copies

Insert a USB drive.
Open Settings.
Prepare USB folders if needed.
Choose the campaign to export.
Select Backup Campaign to USB.

Whole-device recovery path

Full Nexus backup is planned for a future Settings button. For now, use campaign USB backups for portable campaigns and keep a manual copy or image of the Nexus data directory before SD-card replacement or production handoff.
